2015 Chardonnay, Santa Barbara County

This bottling comes from vineyards located in the Los Alamos Valley of Santa Barbara County. Whole-cluster pressing and barrel fermentation helped in the creation of this vibrant wine. Bright Pippin apple, pineapple and tropical fruit flavors along with nuances of honeysuckle, lemongrass and oak are complimented by a smooth, creamy mouthfeel.

2016 Chardonnay, Santa Barbara County

The fruit for this bottling was sourced from Garey Ranch Vineyard, Sierra Madre Vineyard and the Cottonwood Canyon Vineyards, all located within the Santa Maria Valley AVA. This barrel fermented Chardonnay displays aromas of toasted oak, fresh cut pineapple, guava and honeycomb, along with vibrant flavors of tropical fruit, apple, pear, Juicy Fruit gum, and honey.

2017 Chardonnay, Jaybird

This unoaked, stainless steel fermented Chardonnay has lovely aromas of pineapple, guava and sliced apple. The initial high acidity was tempered by Malolatic fermentation, leaving a creamy mouthfeel without being overly buttery.

2011 Pinot Noir, Steiner Creek Vineyard, San Luis Obispo County

One of the coolest growing sites in California, the Steiner Creek Vineyard is located just east of the Pacific Ocean and Hearst San Simeon State Park in San Luis Obispo County. This unique coastal site benefits from extreme maritime influence with longer than normal hang time and produces distinctively rich and aromatic Pinot Noir.

2012 Pinot Noir, Enz Vineyard, Lime Kiln Valley

This elegant Pinot Noir is sourced from the Lime Kiln Valley, a small AVA located due east of the Monterey Bay in San Benito County. Dry farmed and planted on a rolling terrace of decomposed granite and limestone, the Enz vineyard is known for producing unique, terroir-driven wines. This beautiful Pinot Noir draws you in with aromas of rose water, ripe berries and turned earth. Flavors of red and black fruits are followed by moderate tannins and a distinctive finish of Lime Kiln dust.

2012 Pinot Noir, Steiner Creek Vineyard

Located less than four miles from the Pacific Ocean, Steiner Creek Vineyard is the most maritime influenced and coldest growing site in which Kenneth Volk Vineyards sources fruit. Steiner Creek is a spring fed creek and tributary of San Simeon Creek. The vineyard, located adjacent to Steiner Creek, is known for the coarse silty soil which is a mixture of alluvium and weathered Franciscan Formation rock. This is an elegant Pinot Noir with dominating aromas of rose water, complimented by strawberry and barrel spice.

2013 Pinot Noir, San Benito County

Featuring fruit sourced from the Sillito Ranch in the San Benito AVA and the Enz vineyard of Lime Kiln Valley, this is a big wine displaying the most color and tannins of all of our Pinot Noirs. Aromas of blackberry, barrel spice and wet limestone are followed by flavors of black cherry and mocha.

2014 Pinot Noir, Barrel Select, Santa Maria Valley

This special release showcases the finest barrels of Pinot Noir from Garey Ranch, Sierra Madre and Bien Nacido Vineyards. Distinctly floral aromas of rose water, lavender and hibiscus lead to flavors of raspberry, strawberry, cola, fennel, and black licorice.

2013 Pinot Noir, Steiner Creek Vineyard

Steiner Creek Vineyard is the coolest location for winegrowing of all of KVV vineyard sources. Less than four miles from the Pacific Ocean, this property produces elegant and floral wines. This wine has beautiful aromas of rosewater and blueberry, followed by flavors of blue fruit, sarsaparilla and a smooth mouth feel.

2014 Pinot Noir, San Benito County

Our 2014 San Benito County Pinot Noir is a blend of Enz Vineyard of the Lime Kiln Valley AVA and the Siletto Ranch Vineyard of the San Benito AVA. This wine has aromas of ripe dark fruit, Chambord, wet limestone and oak, along with flavors of blackberry and blueberry. It has firm tannins and distinctive mineral finish.

2014 Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara County

In 2014, Kenneth Volk Vineyards made the transition from the Santa Maria Cuvée moniker to Santa Barbara County for the name of our Flagship Pinot Noir bottling. This wine still qualifies for the Santa Maria Valley Appellation as it is a blend of Sierra Madre Vineyard, Garey Ranch Vineyard, Bien Nacido Vineyard and Cottonwood Canyon Vineyard. This Pinot Noir has aromas of five-spice, strawberries, turned earth and cola. On the palate it has flavors of raspberry, ripe strawberries and sarsaparilla. A full bodied wine with a soft, creamy, lingering finish.

2014 Cabernet Franc, Paso Robles

More similar in style to a Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley of France or Northern Italy than our past offerings, this wine has earthy, dusty aromas complimented by violets and berries. Flavors of candied fruit, fig, red pimento and mocha dominate the palate.

2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles

This supple extracted wine has benefited from extended barrel and bottle aging. It has aromas of ripe red fruits and Paso Robles dust along with flavors of cherry, blackberry and mocha and a silky, round mouth texture.

2013 Gros Verdot, San Benito

Gros Verdot is one of the least known Bordeaux grape varieties. The wine world has often confused this grape with Petit Verdot and other grape varieties. Our San Benito offering is garnet colored with aromas of ripe black currant, blueberry, plum, white pepper and limestone dust. Medium bodied, this wine is savory and has lingering, soft fine grain tannins.

2014 Merlot, Paso Robles

This dark colored Merlot has aromas of ripe Satsuma plum, dried strawberry, cigar box and Paso dust. This balanced wine is firm, yet supple on the palate.

2014 Petit Verdot, Paso Robles

Petite Verdot is a more commonly encountered Bordeaux grape variety, and is a genetically different grape variety to Gros Verdot. Our 2014 Paso Robles is our first bottling of this variety. This is a substantial, big red wine, deeply pigmented with earthy and jammy cooked fruit aromas. When aerated, it shows notes of baking spices, anise, black licorice and black tea. On the palate our Petite Verdot has substantial fruit tannins and resinous oak.

This dark, inky wine has aromas and flavors of ripe blueberry and black raspberry with spicy aromas of mace and nutmeg.

Protracted aging in seasoned French oak cooperage and in bottle have helped to produce this extraordinary Petite Sirah. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, blueberry and fig are complimented by nuances of black licorice and peppercorns. It’s tannins provide structure without being over powering

2014 Sousao, Cira Vineyard

Sousão (say what?!) is one of the darkest red wine grapes of the Iberian peninsula, commonly used for port production as well as table wines. Sousão was also a 36% component in our proprietary red wine blend Lusitania. This wine is black in color yet it finishes surprisingly soft on the palate. Enticing aromas of Santa Rosa Plum jam, Black Jack Fig and a hint of cedar and cured tobacco are followed by flavors of plum, fig and mocha.

Still relatively obscure in California, Tannat is a variety believed to have originated in the Basque region in Spain.These wines are frequently huge, black wines with intense dark fruit flavors and mouth numbing tannins. Our 2012 Tannat is a big wine with jammy black fruit flavors and considerable structure.

2013 Tannat, Bella Collina Vineyard, Paso Robles

Tannat is a black-skinned grape traditionally grow in in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains of Spain and France. Rare in California, the fruit for this bold wine was grown in the Bella Collina Weideman Vineyards of Paso Robles. This brooding macho wine has aromas of raspberry, blue plums and anise. On the palate it reveals flavors of blue and black fruits, chocolate and caraway seed followed by iron-fisted tannins. A cellar worthy wine that can best be enjoyed with rich cuts of meat and hearty cuisine.

2014 Tannat, Bella Collina Vineyard

Tannat is considered an indigenous grape to both Spain and France. This Paso Robles rendition is medium bodied with aromas of oak and minerality, along with flavors of raspberry, cranberry and blue plum.

This earth-toned, elegant wine has aromas of sweet oak, rose and caraway. The combination of high malic acid content and prolonged cellaring on its fermentation lees has helped create a soft lingering finish.

2012 Touriga Nacional, Pomar Junction Vineyard

Our 2012 Touriga Nacional is a ripe and structured wine with flavors of mulberry, blueberry and black currant, along with nuances of violets and confectionary spice. This wine has plenty of structure to stand up to rich cuts of roasted or seared meats yet balanced enough to pair with less fatty foods.

2013 Touriga Nacional, Pomar Junction

Touriga Nacional is debatably the finest red grape of Portugal. If you have enjoyed a glass of port, you have most likely have encountered Touriga Nacional. Along with being the most prized grape for Port, it produces flavorful varietal wines. Lovely aromas of red plum, ripe berries and violets are followed by flavors of cherry, plum, Earl Grey tea and firm fine grain tannins.

2016 Verdelho, Pomar Junction

This medium-bodied wine has aromas of a bowl of mixed citrus fruit, sliced pear and sweet Alyssum flowers. On the palate, the wine is clean and refreshing with flavors of citrus fruits, guava, apple and honeydew melon with a clean mineral finish.

NV Vinho Doce, Pomar Junction Vineyard, Paso Robles

Vinho Doche translates in Portuguese as “sweet wine”. This is not a late harvest wine, but a luscious multi-vintage, white port-styled wine produced from fermenting Verdelho that was fortified with brandy. Aged in French oak barrels with flavors of apricot, peach and guava, this wine is 16 percent alcohol with 10 grams of residual grape sugar. The low pH helps balance its sweetness. Ken wanted to craft a modern version of the mid Atlantic wines of the island of Madeira. Enjoy as a holiday dessert wine, or it may be paired with savory foods, charcuterie and cheese plates.

2011 Aglianico, Pomar Junction Vineyard

Aglianico is one of Italy's revered red wine grapes. Believed to have been originally of Greek origin, it is the principal grape of the village of Taurasi in the Campania region. Rare in California, our Pomar Junction Aglianico is a full-bodied red wine with flavors of plum, mocha and blueberry that are followed by bright acidity and firm tannins.

2013 Aglianico, Pomar Junction Vineyard

One of the seldom seen grapes in California, this bottling has aromas and flavors of dark chocolate, roasted almonds, black cherry and anise. After years of aging, the tannins have come into balance but it still remains a substantial wine. Best enjoyed following aeration and paired with protein.

2016 Albarino, Riverbench Vineyard

Albarino is an aromatic grape traditionally grown in northwest Spain and Portugal. Rare in California, this wine comes from the only planting of Albarino in Santa Barbara's cool climate Santa Maria Valley. Our 2016 Albarino has bright aromatics of pineapple and white nectarine. On the palate, the wine is crisp and refreshing with a rounded mouth feel and finishes with nicely balanced acidity.

2014 Barbera, Siletto Ranch Vineyard, San Benito

Aromas and flavors of black licorice and bramble fruits such as raspberry and wild blackberry. This medium bodied wine has bright acidity followed by soft tannins.

Aromas reminiscent of an earthy Pinot Noir along with blueberry, Sandalwood and plum. On palate, this wine has a bright acidity with flavors of blackberry, vanilla, and tea.

2013 Negrette, Calleri Vineyard

Negrette, as its name implies, is a black grape which is seldom grown in California. Negrette's origin remains a matter of debate. It is commonly encountered in the Côtes du Frontonnais wine region, north of the city of Toulouse, in south central France. Negrette produces deeply pigment wines which are surprisingly soft on the palate. Its aromas and flavors are reminiscent of both Pinot Noir and wines of the Côtes du Rhône. the 2013 vintage has layors of cherry, blueberry and white sage leading to fine grain tannins.

2012 Orange Muscat, Wind Willow Vineyard

Highly aromatic dessert wine with distinctive notes of citrus fruit and flowers. Delicious served as an appertif with cheeses and dried fruits or poured over ice and blended with sparkling water for a refreshing spritzer.

2014 Primitivo, French Camp Vineyard

Our first Primitivo bottling has an earthy, dusty, overripe fruit aroma with white peppercorn, vanilla and molasses. On the palate, flavors of stewed red fruit prevail. True to its Italian roots, it has high acidity and firm tannins.

2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles-MAGNUM

Our 2006 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend from two Westside vineyard properties. Traditional winemaking techniques and gentle aging in French oak helped craft this delicious wine. This deeply pigmented wine has aromas of ripe fruit, cigar box, mocha, and vanilla. On the palate, flavors of plum and cherry are followed by a lingering finish.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmody McKnight Vineyard, Paso Robles-MAGNUM

The Carmody McKnight Vineyard is located on the west side of paso Robles in the Santa Mucia Mountains. This unique vineyard has some of the most complex soils in California. These soils, and the microclimate of this vineyard site, produce unique, remarkable wines with aromas of Bing cherry and Paso Robles dust, leading to modest tannins.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, Starr Ranch Vineyard, Paso Robles-MAGNUM

This beautiful Westside vineyard produces some of the most desirable fruit in Paso Robles. The viticultural team at the Starr Ranch takes great pride in meticulously farming the steep hillsides of this unique property. Traditional winemaking techniques and quiet aging in French and Hungarian oak helped in the production of this delicious wines.

2012 Mourvedre, Enz Vineyard, Lime Kiln Valley-MAGNUM

The Enz Vineyard Mourvedre is one of the oldest plantings in California. These ancient, head-trained vines produced a beautiful, well-balanced crop of small-berried clusters. The limestone-laden soils lend a unique minerality and mid-palate lift to this classically brooding varietal. Traditional winemaking techniques and aging in French oak produced a savory wine perfect for food pairing. Ripe fruit aromas and exotic spice are followed by flavors of blueberry, cherry and licorice.

Our Santa Maria Cuvee Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit from some of the top vineyard properties in Santa Maria Valley; the cool maritime climate, well-drained soils, and the long growing season produce some of the finest Pinot Noir in California. Attentive viticulture, traditional cellar techniques and quiet aging in French and Hungarian oak helped in producing this elegant wine. A versital food wine, it can complement a wide array of cuisine.

2009 Pinot Noir, Bien Nacido Vineyard, Santa Maria Valley-MAGNUM

The Bien Nacido Vineyard is one of the most highly-regarded vineyards of the viticultural world, and is three miles west of our winery. Hand-picking in the coolness of the early morning, careful destemming and sorting, open top fermentation and quiet aging in French oak cooperage helped craft this delicious wine. Polished and elegant, this wine has aromas and flavors of strawberry, cherry and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is supple and silky.

Planted in the mid-1990's, the Garey Ranch Vineyard is adjacent to the small township of Garey in Santa Barbara County's Santa Maria Valley. Traditional winemaking techniques of open top fermentation, basket pressing and quiet aging in French oak were used in the production of this delicious wine.

2012 Zinfandel, Enz Vineyard, Lime Kiln Valley-MAGNUM

known American Viticultural Areas in California. Adjacent to the San Andreas Fault, the Enz Vineyard is located 24 miles east of Monterey Bay in the rugged Gavilan Mountains and benefits from the bay's cool maritime influence. The Lime Kiln Valley once supported an active lime quarry which produced quicklime for much of the mortar used in the construction of San Francisco in the late 1880s. Originally planted in 1895, this head-trained, dry-farmed vineyard continues to flourish today, producing mineral-driven, aromatic wines.
